An operator of five premium boutique hotels and pubs throughout the South West has secured a £3.5m loan to fund the acquisition of its sixth site.
Stay Original Co. began life in 2011 with The Swan in Wedmore. It is now behind The White Hart in Somerton, Timbrell's Yard in Bradford on Avon, The King's Arms in Dorchester and The Grosvenor Arms in Shaftesbury.
The loan from Cynergy Bank will support the purchase of the sixth site, At The Chapel in Bruton, Somerset. The building dates back to the 17th century with an 18th century chapel, and comprises of a restaurant, artisan bakery, wine-store and eight bedrooms.
