Wild & Game (a West Country-based brand that’s building the UK market for game meat) has raised an impressive £485,000 in its first ever equity crowd funder. Launched in 2017, Wild & Game specialises in game meat. The business has grown dramatically in the past two years. COVID-19 lockdowns increased the public appetite for food deliveries, and Wild & Game’s D2C (direct-to-customer) operation grew rapidly as a result. Thankfully, customers have stayed with the company post lockdown, increasing Wild’s revenue to £1m in the past six months.
Richard Hopkins of Roxburgh Milkins advised on the fund raising.

“We’re delighted that our first ever fundraiser has far exceeded its target. This reflects the growing public appetite for game meat, which is fast gaining ground as an attractive and sustainable alternative to the meats you usually find in a supermarket.”
